Things I’m Thankful For:
.
#4-My Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
.
Growing up, my household always lived away from the rest of our family.
.
From the time I was born through high school, the closest we ever lived to them was a four-hour drive.
.
Over the past couple years, I’ve been blessed to live in close proximity with my family.
.
Instead of only seeing each other on holidays, we get to share a meal almost every week.
.
Now, all us grandkids are in the early stages of adulthood, crafting the course of the rest of our lives.
.
We’re building careers, buying houses, and believing in our dreams.
.
While my childhood wasn’t spent with them that much, I’m thankful my family and I get to have a future together, surrounded by those who love us.
.
I’m thankful for the love, sense of belonging, and for the opportunity to do fun things together like throwing axes.
.
A thankful life is a happy life.
